About the artist
Paul Delannée is a French artist who lives in Normandy.
He is an art and classical music lover since ever! He studied management then he decided to devote about 3,200 hours practicing piano during one year, because he’s a Chopin and Rachmaninov, also Beethoven and Scriabin lover too!
He’s an asperger, school for him is a nightmare! Classical music makes him thrilled when he practices it! He makes art because he think that only the canvas and his piano can understand him.
Technique
Paul Delannée’s artistic technique as well as his style is very versatile and changes over time.
Paul does not focus on a particular style or technique but chooses to represent what he needs to express at that moment.
His works range from abstract works with acrylics, to self-portraits and portraits with charcoal, acrylic and very often uses the technique of collage, using musical scores. Another frequent technique is to make works with dots or lines through the pencil.
This continuous change certainly reflects the artist’s emotions, which are constantly evolving.
